Beware of Facebook scams
We do not sell firewood or take payment through Facebook. We've had multiple reports of people using the White Cross Firewood name to scam buyers there. If someone on Facebook says they're us, it isn't. Only order through this website or by calling or texting 423-236-0813.
How it works
Three steps from your phone to your woodpile.
1. Order online
Add a load to your cart, tell us your piece length, and check out. Delivery is added at checkout.
2. We cut, split and load it
We season logs on our lot, then cut and split them to your length and load them loose into the trailer. We aim for at least a full cord every load.
3. We dump it where you want it
Show us the spot: driveway, by the shed, next to the stack. $50 delivery within 50 miles of Rogersville. You handle the stacking.
Cord, face cord or rick?
All three are stacks 4 ft high and 8 ft long. What changes is the depth. A face cord is typically about a pickup bed full, and a full cord is three times that.
Full cord (our load): 4 x 4 x 8 ft
128 cubic feet. About three rows of 16-inch wood, or roughly three pickup-bed loads. This is what we deliver.
Face cord: one 4 x 8 ft row
Typically about a pickup bed full. One row deep: with 16-inch wood, about a third of a cord. A rick is the same thing, the word you'll hear around here.
Rick: same as a face cord
One 4 x 8 ft row. Three ricks of 16-inch wood make about a cord. Longer pieces mean deeper rows: with 24-inch wood, a rick is about half a cord.
Questions folks ask
Straight answers to what folks ask most. Anything else, call or text 423-236-0813.
Is the wood seasoned?
Yes. We season it at log length on our lot, then cut and split it to your specs when you order, so every load fits your stove or fireplace.
Where do you deliver?
Anywhere within 50 miles of Rogersville for $50, including Surgoinsville, Church Hill, Mount Carmel, Kingsport, Bulls Gap, Bean Station, Morristown, Greeneville, Sneedville, Rutledge and the rest of Hawkins County.
Do you stack it?
We dump it loose where you want it, which keeps the price down. Tell us the spot when you order. Put your piece length in the order; 16 inches is the most common.
